The apartment and your group

How many guests can stay?

Up to six registered guests. Each of the two bedrooms has a queen bed, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. There is one bathroom. You have your own entrance, full kitchen, living space, washer and dryer, and private thermostat.

Is it a good fit for a family?

The separate bedrooms, kitchen and laundry make it practical for families and small groups. A Pack ’n Play, high chair, children’s books, games and children’s dishware are available. Include everyone in your reservation and ask James about any specific needs before booking.

Is the apartment accessible?

There are steps down to the lower-level entrance, and the apartment is not wheelchair accessible. Some sound transfer is expected in a historic townhouse. Contact your host before booking if stairs or noise may affect your stay.

Location, parking and getting around

Which Metro station is nearby?

Stadium-Armory is approximately 1.5 blocks away and serves the Blue, Orange and Silver lines. Check WMATA’s station information and service alerts and plan your route for your travel dates.

Is parking included?

A free street-parking pass is available on request. Tell James in advance if you need one so he can explain how to use it. Parking is on the street; the pass does not reserve a space. Follow posted signs and the instructions supplied for your stay.

What can we explore from here?

Start with Capitol Hill, including Eastern Market and the shops and restaurants along Barracks Row. For a museum day, plan a Metro trip to the National Mall and Smithsonian museums. Navy Yard and H Street are other districts to consider; check your route rather than assuming every destination is a short walk.

Eastern Market’s official site has current market information. Confirm attraction hours, ticket requirements and transit service before heading out. The former RFK Stadium site is undergoing redevelopment and is not an operating stadium attraction.

How do we arrive and get inside?

The apartment is at 1724 A Street SE, Washington, DC 20003. Descend to the lower-level patio entrance. Your host shares a unique, temporary smart-lock code before your stay. Check-in is from 3 PM; check-out is by 11 AM. See the location map and follow the arrival instructions supplied with your booking.

Booking directly and house rules

How do I check the total price?

Enter your dates and guest count in the availability search. Lodgify checkout shows the itemized quote, including applicable taxes and the cleaning and laundry fee, before you reserve. Rates and availability vary by date; the checkout quote is the source for your stay.

When do I pay, and what is the cancellation policy?

The current schedule is 50% at booking and the remainder seven days before arrival. Paid prepayments are fully refundable when cancellation is at least 14 days before arrival, 50% refundable at least seven days before arrival, and nonrefundable later. A 10% security-deposit preauthorization is scheduled on arrival and released two days after departure. Review the live booking policies and rental agreement in checkout for the terms applying to your reservation.

What are the main house rules?

The primary booking guest must be at least 25. No pets, smoking or vaping, parties, events, or firearms. Only registered guests may stay. Quiet hours are 11 PM to 7 AM. Stays are limited to 28 consecutive nights. Read the full rental agreement before reserving.

Can I ask a question before booking?

Yes. Email James, call +1 202-922-7035, or use the contact form. Share your dates, group size and question so he can help you plan.
